koneksi ini pada awalnya berjalan lancar di windows Vista
tetapi begitu saya dihadapkan untuk seting Modem Ceria + acces Point Airlive WL 5470
eh ternyata internet cuma berjalan di Host server :
setelah kutak-katik sana sini, buka Help Center ku seting seperti ini :
1. Pastikan Jaringan lokal sudah terkoneksi dengan TCP/IP pada Obtain Automaticaly
2. Klik sekali Ikon network pada Launce manager(gambar komputer/wireless sebelah
kanan bawah)
3. klik Open Network and Sharing center
4. pada network yang akan di share klik kanan pilih properti
5. pada tab sharing ceklist allow other users to connect through this komputer
internet connections
6. klik ok
7. restart koneksi internet
8. pada setingan baru terlihat Modem posisi dinamic dan wirelles posisi static
9. test koneksi dengan fasilitas ping

Sebenernya sih sama saja dengan di winXP karena yang perlu kita lakukan hanya meng-aktifkan ICS (internet connection sharing) di vista. Pastikan semua client computer tdk diset static ip nya begitu juga lan Ethernet yang server jangn dibuat static
Ini saya nemu di Help center caranya. Mirip seperti yang pernah saya gunakan
Enabling ICS
To enable ICS, on your host computer:
1.
Open Network Connections by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking Network and Internet, clicking Network and Sharing Center, and then clicking Manage network connections.

Right-click the connection that you want to share, and then click Properties. Administrator permission required If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

Click the Sharing tab, and then select the Allow other network users to connect through this computer’s Internet connection check box.

The Sharing tab will not be available if you have only one network connection.

If desired, you can also select the Allow other network users to control or disable the shared Internet connection check box.

Optionally, to allow other network users to use services running on your network, click Settings and select the services you want to allow.
When you enable ICS, your local area network (LAN) connection gets a new static IP address and configuration, so you'll need to reestablish any TCP/IP connections between your host computer and the other network computers.
To test your network and Internet connection, see if you can share files between computers and make sure each computer can reach a website.
